During a trip with her daughter to the idyllic Koh Lanta in Thailand, Marion became seriously ill with dengue fever.
The journey from high fever to hospital was swift, causing distress and a newfound appreciation for living in an area without dengue. Marion and her husband also had to cope with the worry of her daughter’s dengue illness upon their return to Sweden.
